Grinneabhat is on the Hebridean Way Cycling route, a 297km route which crosses 10 islands from Vatersay in the south to Rubha Robhanais, the most northerly point of Lewis  visitouterhebrides.co.uk/hebrideanway .

Grinneabhat is also an excellent base for exploring Lewis by bike. We have an arrangement with a local bike hire company, Bike Hebrides, so that visitors can collect hire bikes from Grinneabhat and have them collected from Grinneabhat at the end of their holiday. Contact Bike Hebrides directly for details.

The village back roads are usually very quiet and excellent for family cycling. Ask at Grinneabhat for suggested routes round the villages. Attractions such as the Calanais stones and the Carloway broch are easily accessible by bike.
