Emergency contact numbers can be found on the noticeboard at the entrance to the hostel.

​You will find a welcome pack in the hostel kitchen with the Wi-Fi code and tourist information.

 

All bedding and towels are provided. Toiletries are not provided.

There is ample car parking to the rear of the building.

There is a bike shelter in the car park where bikes can be secured.

​

There is a small honesty shop in the hostel selling drinks, snacks, tinned and dried foods.

Barvas (5 miles/8km) Welcome In Filling Station.

Carloway (7 miles/11.6km) Carloway Community Shop    

Stornoway (16 miles/25.8km) – supermarkets, restaurants, etc.

If you are here on a Sunday, we hope that you enjoy the peace and quiet of a day when most shops and businesses throughout the island are closed. However, most hotels and many restaurants are open on Sundays, and if you need to buy food or fuel both are available in Stornoway. Bus services do not run on Sundays.

​

Visit Outer Hebrides and The Lewis and Harris Trail are good sources of information on things to see and do on the island.
