If you are here on a Sunday, we hope that you enjoy the peace and quiet of a day when most shops and businesses throughout the island are closed. However, most hotels and many restaurants are open on Sundays, and if you need to buy food or fuel both are available in Stornoway. Bus services do not run on Sundays.
